A lack of horror and terror leaves us,
mocking love and affection.
Until we push all things away,
Freedom turns to oppression.

Reality seems to peel,

which are so dear to me.

Light needs the dark to shine so bright,
Like the faintest stars piercing the blackest night.
Destiny can throw us to the edge of hope,
To find our will and give us the strength to cope.

Clarity only strikes the few,
yet not the ones in power.
If tyranny causes the masses to rise,
it is they who will fearfully cower.

before the bloody terror,
